The icons of Doctor Who reunite for an epic new adventure with the star of House of the Dragon.

Meanwhile, the saga will also star legendary actress Celia Imrie and House of the Dragon star Keiran Brew, with the former portraying chronicler Doctor Kessica Myles and the latter portraying privateer pilot Davlin Crux.

The adventure is likely to be a real epic – it extends over twelve episodes, of which the first six will be published as part one in April 2025.

This will be followed the following month by part two with episodes seven to twelve.

Both parts can be pre-ordered together on the Big Finish website in a multibuy bundle for £47 (Collector’s Edition CD box and download) or £38 (download only).

The series synopsis states: “There is a light that must never be lit… When the TARDIS runs aground in the ancient realm of the Dawn, the Doctor learns that a powerful force has resurfaced.”

Producer David Richardson praised the adventure’s author, Tim Foley, who he said “has outdone himself with this book.”

He described it as “a sprawling, lyrical six-hour story full of new characters, new monsters and a whole lot of surprises” and urged fans to “expect something extraordinarily exciting and beautiful.”

The Fifth Doctor Adventures: Hooklight is available to pre-order now at BigFinish.com and part one is scheduled for release in April 2025.
