Leaked Samsung Galaxy S25 dummy unit hints at 2025 flagship design

We’re still about three months away from the expected launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series and it’s likely that by then we’ll know pretty much everything there is to know about these phones, including images of a new Galaxy S25 dummy Unity The latest leaks are displayed.

These dummy units are built based on schematic information provided to enclosure and accessory manufacturers so that they can prepare their products in advance. The new images come courtesy of tipster @xleaks7 and VeePN.

Recently we saw a Galaxy S25 Ultra mockup from the same source, but this time there’s not as much to talk about. A quick comparison with the photos in our review of the Samsung Galaxy S24 shows that hardly anything seems to have changed in terms of design.

Some dimensions are included: 146.94 x 70.46 x 7.25 mm, which would make the new phone slightly shorter, narrower and thinner than the model that was unveiled in early 2024.

The rumors so far

The rumors and leaks we’ve seen surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S25 have been rather mixed so far. Unofficial renders that emerged last month match the just-leaked dummy unit, suggesting there won’t be much change to the design.

However, we have heard that the screen size could increase from 6.2 inches to 6.36 inches. As for the internal components, 4GB of additional RAM has been considered, which would result in an increase to 12GB, and it is also expected to come with a significant increase in performance.

One of the more surprising rumors we’ve seen so far is that Samsung could abandon the Galaxy S25 Plus to focus sales on the other two models. Then again, perhaps it’s the base model that will be canned, as was already rumored with the Galaxy S26 series.

Less encouragingly, we’ve heard that the Galaxy S25 will use the exact same cameras as the Galaxy S24 and that the entire phone range will see a price increase next year. Everything should be announced in January whether Samsung sticks to its 2024 schedule in 2025.
