The Greene Devils practice at Jeff Co. Stadium this week

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Different teams playing in different counties, but still one big family trying to help each other.

We note that our East Tennessee football teams were involved in the relief efforts for those affected by the recent storm.

On Wednesday morning, the Greeneville High School football team held practice, only it was held at Jefferson County High School.

Head coach Spencer Riley and the Jeff County High School administration opened their doors, hosting Greeneville’s football players and allowing them to practice in their stadium. A wonderful gesture, said Greene Devils head coach Eddie Spradlen.

The Patriots are also helping the young men of Tusculum University, who will play their game this Saturday at nearby Lakeway Christian Academy.
