October Prime Day is just around the corner (October 8th and 9th) and you can save big during the October shopping event thanks to the flood of deals. If you’re looking to take advantage of the savings, Amazon is offering you an easy way to get an extra $15 off your Prime Big Deal Days purchases by inviting you to take advantage of one of the Prime benefits you might not have once you know you have it: unlimited photo storage.

Starting October 2nd, you can get a $15 Prime Big Deal Days credit when you back up your photos with Amazon Photos. No purchase is necessary, but you must be a Prime member to do so. You should sign up for Prime before Prime Day in October to make sure you can take advantage of the offer, or take advantage of a free trial if one is available to you if you’re interested in securing some extra cash. Apart from that, there are no obstacles and no hidden fees.

You will need to download and sign in to the Amazon Photos app on your mobile device (phone or tablet, whichever) or desktop. From there, use the AutoSave feature to back up all images on your computer or device to reclaim some storage space. But don’t just rely on cloud storage, get it from us. You should make sure you have a second backup if these photos are valuable.

Within four days of signing up for Amazon Photos to free up some space, you’ll automatically receive an email with your $15 in Amazon credit. This offer is only available until October 3rd. There are a number of items you cannot use it on, and you must apply it to an order valued at at least $30.
