Date set for next free fruit and vegetable distribution at Eastlake Senior Center – News-Herald

The next free food distribution at the Eastlake Senior Center is scheduled for October 9th starting at 10:30 a.m

According to a news release, the distribution includes 10,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables, dairy and meat.

Because this is a drive-thru distribution, participants do not have to get out of their cars. Individuals can register at the same time as their driver’s license.

The distributions are available to anyone in need and each individual or family typically receives a food box valued at $30 to $40, according to the release.

The Eastlake Senior Center is located at 600 East 349th St.

This monthly distribution takes place on the second Wednesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Eastlake Senior Center. It is a partnership between Willow Praise Church, Cleveland Food Bank and Eastlake Senior Center.
