Sabrina Carpenter has put an end to claims that she doesn’t sing live

G’wan Sabrina!

Sabrina Carpenter has hit back at fans who accused her of lip-syncing on her Short ‘n’ Sweet tour.

Over on TikTok, videos of it espresso The singer’s live performances have gone viral since the tour began last month. But some fans were not happy with Sabrina’s performance.

Some participants claimed the performance lasted 70 minutes and called it “too short.” According to reports, their setlist is actually 90 minutes long and 21 songs are played per show.

Others believe that Sabrina doesn’t sing enough throughout the night and instead opts for lip syncing or letting the audience sing while she listens.

One TikTok user asked: “Does [Sabrina] Have you ever sung live?” A fan who attended the concert posted a video in response to Sabrina singing and dancing on stage. Onscreen, they wrote that their performance consisted of “30% lip singing, 30% backing, 40% singing.”

The video went viral and received over 180,000 likes.

Sabrina commented on the video: “I sing 100% live at every show. Would you like to speak to my sound engineers?” [sic].”

Is Sabrina coming to Ireland?

Sabrina will bring her tour to the 3Arena for two nights next March. But if you’re looking for tickets, good luck. Half the country is currently hunting.

Their current setlist includes 21 songs, including a surprise evening song.

During the concert, Sabrina plays a game of Spin the Bottle with a choice of four songs.

So far, Sabrina has performed “Mamma Mia” by ABBA twice, “That Don’t Impress Me Much” by Shania Twain once and also one of her own songs – “Busy Woman”.

“Busy Woman” didn’t make it to that Short and sweet album when she wrote it “shortly after” she dropped off the album. It was released as a surprise track at the end of August.
