Day 5 of ‘Devara: Part 1’ Box Office Collection: Jr NTR’s film is on; is approaching Rs 200 crore in India

Devara: Part 1 Box Office Collection: Jr NTR’s latest film is doing wonders at the box office even as the film slowed down after the opening weekend. The superstar’s fan base has ensured that the box office continues to ring with fame as the film makes its way into the Rs 200 crore club.

‘Devara’, which grossed a whopping Rs 82.5 million on its first day of release, has grossed Rs 186.65 million at the box office in its five days of release in India. As per Sacnilk data, Jr NTR’s film had grossed Rs 38.2 crore on its first Saturday, Rs 39.9 crore on Sunday, Rs 12.75 crore on Monday and Rs 13.50 crore on Tuesday.

Due to the Gandhi Jayanti holiday on Wednesday, the film is expected to witness a surge in its Tuesday collections.

According to Sacnilk data, Devara: Part 1 is performing quite well in Hyderabad, Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, Devara: Part 1 has grossed Rs 300 crore at the global box office, according to trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan.

Devara: Part 1 is set in the 1980s and 1990s and revolves around Devara, who embarks on a dangerous journey to ensure the safety of his loved ones. Jr NTR plays the dual role of Devara and Varadha. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Shruti Marathe and Shine Tom Chacko in significant roles.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the film was released worldwide on September 27 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. While Devara was initially conceived as a single film, it was eventually split into two parts.
