Hours before the vice presidential debate, former President Donald Trump addressed a crowd at his campaign rally in Wisconsin and criticized the Biden administration over Iran’s historic attack on Israel.

“Recently, Iran fired 181 ballistic missiles at Israel… I have been talking about World War III for a long time and I don’t want to make predictions because the predictions always come true. “We don’t do that.” will do that [predictions]… but they are on the verge of a global catastrophe,” Trump said. “We have a nonexistent president and a nonexistent vice president who should be in charge, but no one knows what’s going on.”

Trump’s comments came after Israel said Iran had fired 181 ballistic missiles at the country, marking the largest ballistic missile attack in history.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the attack was in retaliation for the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut, Lebanon, in an Israeli airstrike late last week and the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in July, it said Fox News Foreign Affairs Correspondent Trey Yingst.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard warned in a statement carried by Iranian state media that Israel would face “devastating attacks” if it responded to the rocket fire.

Trump accused President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris of weak leadership on the world stage.

“That’s why Israel was attacked recently. Because they no longer respect our country. The so-called enemy no longer respects our country,” Trump said.

Trump claimed that Biden and Harris made Iran rich in a very short period of time.

“You now have $300 billion. You are rich. I mean, they pay $6 billion every time someone gets kidnapped, it’s always $6 billion,” Trump said.

Iran was on the verge of bankruptcy. They had no more money. They had no money for Hamas. They had no money for Hezbollah. The people they are fighting now would have been willing to make any deal. You could have made any deal. But Kamala flooded them with American cash and everything. I mean, they’re flooding them with cash. “It’s honestly not even credible,” Trump continued.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Iranian missile attack on Israel was “depressed and ineffective” and the US military coordinated with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to repel the attacks.

“U.S. Navy destroyers, along with Israeli air defense units, fired interceptors to shoot down incoming missiles. “President Biden and Vice President Harris monitored the attack and response from the White House Situation Room, accompanied in person and remotely by their colleagues.” national security Team,” Sullivan said.

Sullivan called the attack a “significant escalation” in his speech at a White House briefing on Tuesday.

Sullivan said no deaths had been reported on the Israeli side, although the White House was monitoring the reported death of a Palestinian civilian in Jericho in the West Bank.

“We are not aware of any damage to aircraft or strategic military installations in Israel. In short, based on what we know at this point, this attack appears to have been repelled and ineffective. The word fog of war was invented for a situation like… “It’s a fluid situation,” he said.

Many rockets were intercepted by Israel’s missile defense systems, while others hit the ground.

According to the Pentagon, the US has fired around twelve interceptors against Iranian missiles.
