Applications for the Going PRO Talent Fund Grants are now open

MID-MICHIGAN (WNEM) – Applications for the Going PRO Talent Fund are now open through the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO). $50 million in funding is available for the first cycle.

“The Going PRO Talent Fund gives workers the opportunity to learn new skills and earn certifications that can truly transform their careers. “At the same time, he helps companies build the skilled teams they need to grow and compete in today’s rapidly changing economy,” said Susan Corbin, Director of LEO.

According to LEO, the program has helped more than 175,000 workers and 7,1000 businesses across Michigan since its inception.

Grants are awarded through Michigan Works! Agencies. If you or your company have not received any awards in the last two years, you will receive additional compensation for the funding.

The application deadline is October 18th at 5:00 p.m. Companies interested in applying should contact their local Michigan facility! Service center. Information can be found on their website.
