Arsenal face Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) in the UEFA Champions League game on Tuesday.

The Arsenal team is very happy after hearing Tori say that Ousmane Dembélé will not play for the game and is happy for the Emirates Stadium.

Di France striker Dembele scored four goals in six Ligue 1 games for PSG this season.

I’m also playing for the 1-0 win against Spanish team Girona in the opening game of the Champions League.

However, according to Tori, the 27-year-old has fallen short with PSG boss Luis Enrique for arriving late to the game following Friday’s 3-1 win over Rennes for the French top flight.

“If someone doesn’t meet or respect the team’s expectations, it means he’s not ready to play,” Enrique said.

“These circumstances are difficult and you have to make difficult decisions, but I am 100% committed to my decision and 100% sure of which decision I will not make.”

Former Barcelona player Dembele is set to be one of the biggest PSG names in the post-Kylian Mbappe era.

When they asked Enrique to explain the situation with Dembele, Enrique said: “I am very honest and I will be honest, but I will not make a drama out of it.”

“There are no problems between us. That’s not true at all. It’s all about the player’s responsibilities.”

“That doesn’t mean they are irreversible, but I’m making the best decision for the team and I don’t know why I’m signing for him, to create a team that gets a strong identity and a beta character.”

The gunners are ready to face elite opponents

Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says my team plays against opponents at the “highest level” even if Dembele misses the game.

The Gunners face the French champions and have failed to reach the semi-finals of Europe’s elite club competition in three of the last five seasons.

“The opponent we face in this game is probably the highest level you can find for European football,” Arteta said.

Arteta played for PSG between 2001 and 2002.

“But it’s a great opportunity for us to see how we deal with things and how we perform in this context.”

Arteta also said that defenders Ben White and Riccardo Calafiori are available for selection.

White missed the Gunners’ last two games with a knee injury, while Calafiori mis-landed with his left leg for the closing stages of his side’s win over Leicester on Saturday.

“Obviously the Calafiori are very emotional after the game,” Arteta added

“Let’s see how I am physically today.”

According to UEFA, Arsenal and PSG will not meet twice.

For these two matches they draw twice.
