Producer of Sivakarthikeyan and Sudha Kongara’s new film revealed! – Tamil News

Exciting news has surfaced in Kollywood as actor Sivakarthikeyan will be collaborating with acclaimed director Sudha Kongara for an upcoming high-budget film. Initially announced as Suriya 43, the project has now taken a new direction with Sivakarthikeyan playing the lead role. Titled ‘Purananooru’, the film was originally supposed to star Suriya but now Sivakarthikeyan will be directing the film under the direction of Sudha Kongara.

According to sources, the film’s budget is estimated to be over £100 million, with Red Giant Movies taking over the project. The technical crew of the original ‘Suriya 43’ team, including music composer GV Prakash and stunt director Supreme Sundar, will remain on board. The film is set against the backdrop of the anti-Hindi compulsory movement of the 1960s and adds a historical and socio-political layer to the narrative.

Adding to the excitement is Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan, who is reportedly in talks for a key role in the film. It is noteworthy that Dulquer was also initially supposed to be a part of Suriya 43, which is another connection between the two projects.
