Samsung has just launched its FE smartphone with the latest flagship configurations. The best part is that it packs most of the Galaxy AI features from the Galaxy S24 series, including the latest One UI 6.1.1. Even better is the software support of 7 years! All this at a price of $649 in the US, with similar prices in Europe and Asia, with India coming in at INR 59,999.

The point of the FE editions is to offer flagship features at a mid-range price point, and Samsung isn’t holding back this year. The focus is on camera quality and AI capabilities. Reliable performance for everyday tasks and gaming with the Exynos 2400e processor. However, the processor could have been better or there should be an alternative with the Snapdragon processor.

The Galaxy S24 FE features a 6.7-inch screen with FHD+ resolution and brightness of up to 1900 nits. The display is still 120Hz. The Galaxy S24 FE is powered by the Exynos 2400e SoC and initially comes with 8GB RAM options.

As for the camera, the rear camera has dual cameras of 50MP + 12MP + 8MP while the selfie camera is 10MP. Battery performance has increased compared to the previous generation FE editions as it is equipped with a 4700mAh battery and has 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. It also supports WiFi 6e, IP68 rating and receives the latest One UI firmware update with 7 years of software updates.
