Bethany Animal Shelter: Closed for adoptions due to animal clinic closure. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first Saturday of the month, 5100 N College, 405-789-3431.

Central Oklahoma Humane Society Center: Tuesdays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sundays, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., 7500 N Western Ave., 405-286-1229.

El Reno Animal Shelter: Closed to accept animals but open for adoption, Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 2400 Spur Lane, 405-262-2121.

Edmond Animal Shelter: Pet adoption is available by appointment only during regular hours, Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closed on Sundays and Mondays. 2424 Old Timbers Drive, 405-216-7615.

Moore Animal Shelter: Closed to accept animals, but open for adoptions Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Wednesday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. to noon and closed Sunday, 4000 S Interstate 35 Service Road, 405-793-5190.

Mustang animal shelter: Closed due to illness. Opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday; 9:30 a.m. to noon Friday and closed weekends, 520 SW 59, 405-256-6207.

Animal Welfare in Oklahoma City: Open for adoption of cats and some dogs, Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Until overcrowding is controlled, adoption fees will be waived for all dogs, regardless of size.
