“Missing The Other Side” star “Go Soo” takes on the role of a lawyer in the new tvN drama

Go Soo, who won the hearts of millions of K-drama fans worldwide with his portrayal of Kim Wook in “Missing The Other Side,” will portray a lawyer in the upcoming tvN drama “Parole Examiner Lee.” The miniseries is about a lawyer named Lee Han Shin. He is responsible for making the final parole decision for prison inmates.

Through probation, the lawyer tries to prevent inmates who do not regret their crimes from escaping from prison. He tries to keep such criminals from getting parole through their influence, money, power, connections and deceptive tactics. The production team shared that this miniseries differs from other K-dramas in that it includes a thrilling defense of the parole officer.

Parole Examiner Lee will mark actor Go Soo’s return to the small screens after a year. Park Chi Hyung wrote the script for this miniseries. Directed by Yoon Sang Ho, Go Soo, Kwon Yu Ri, Baek Ji Won and Lee Hak Joo will star in this legal drama. It premieres on tvN on Monday (November 18) at 8:50 PM KST.

Preview and spoilers

The production team has released a new character poster of Go Soo as lawyer Lee Han Shin. You can see him sitting proudly in front of documents and wearing a lawyer’s card. On the poster he shows his strong charisma and his sharp eyes. The eye-catching text on the poster provokes a funny thriller drama.

“Lee Han Shin is a character who tries, in his own way, to stop the morally corrupt from being released on parole, whether legally or illegally. Lee Han Shin prevents inmates who use various tricks from being released on parole. The exciting defense of the probation examiner is something special.” Viewers have not seen it in other dramas. “Look forward to the realistic heroism of parole officer Lee as he punishes the morally corrupt who only think about getting out of prison!” teased the production team.
