Findlay cyclist injured after hit-and-run accident

A 20-year-old was hospitalized Saturday after being hit by a hit-and-run driver.

FINDLAY, Ohio – A bicyclist had to be taken to the hospital in Findlay after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Saturday evening, according to Findlay police.

The accident occurred in the 3300 block of North Main Street, near Northcliff Drive, around 8:20 p.m

According to Findlay Police, 20-year-old Caleb Dutton of Findlay was riding his electric bicycle north on Main Street when he was struck from behind by a motorist who then fled the scene.

According to police, Dutton apparently suffered a head injury in the accident and was taken to hospital.

Dutton’s injury is currently unknown.

Police did not provide any information about the vehicle that struck Dutton.
