The police are warning about fraudsters who allegedly have compromising photos

According to authorities, there are a number of new scam emails to watch out for.

According to a statement from Wakefield Police, the scammers tell victims that their computer and the computer’s camera have been hacked.

According to police, scammers claim they have “compromising photos” of victims as well as information they collected during the fake computer hacking.

According to the statement, a photo of the victims’ houses or streets obtained from “open source media” is also included.

Police said these scammers would demand financial compensation from victims via Bitcoin or Bitcoin wallet information.

According to Wakefield Police, no victim reported any further problems after the email was ignored.
